PUBLIC DROP-IN (No membership required) (All Ages)(No registration required)

Not ready for a lesson but want to try kayaking. Join us from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the Landing Leisure Centre in Chilliwack on Friday February 9, February 16, February 23, March 1, March 8 and March 15 to try out kayaking with the help of our wonderful instructors. There are limited boats available, first come first serve. Please note this is not a lesson but our instructors are available to provide tips and assistance. No registration is required for this session - just show up and find us on the pool deck to get fitted for equipment. 

IMPORTANT - Pool Admission fees are required to be paid to the Landing Leisure Centre upon entry for these drop in sessions. 

MEMBER DROP-IN (CCE Membership required)(All Ages)(registration required)

Join us at the Landing Leisure Centre from 8:30pm to 9:30pm (MUST arrive by 8:15pm) on Friday February 9, February 16, February 23, March 1, March 8 and March 15 for drop in kayaking. This is not a lesson but our qualified instructors will be there to give tips and tricks! Registration required. Cost is $20 per session or $105 for all 6 sessions.  CCE Paddling Club Membership is required for these sessions.  NO Pool Admission fees are required upon entry. 

Level 1 and 2, Intro to Kayaking (No experience necessary)(Cost: $55 plus $25 annual membership fee, membership is valid from Jan 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025)

Set 1 (ages 11-17): Friday, February 9, February 16 and February 23 from 7:30pm to 8:30pm at the Landing Leisure Centre in Chilliwack, BC

Set 2 (ages 7-12): Friday, March 1, March 8, and March 15 from 7:30pm to 8:30pm at the Landing Leisure Centre in Chilliwack, BC

Level 3, Teen Intro to Whitewater (Pre-requisites: level 1 and 2)(Cost: $55 plus $25 annual membership fee, membership is valid from Jan 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025)

Set 3 (ages 11-17): Friday March 1, March 8, and March 15 from 8:30pm to 9:30pm at the Landing Leisure Centre in Chilliwack, BC

This course is taught by our experienced, NCCP qualified instructors and evaluated by the instructors using the Canoe Kayak Canada evaluation program. The nine step leveling curriculum begins with the novice learner, and ends with a student prepared to race at a national level on whitewater (Level 9). Each level has clear evaluative criteria related to paddling skills and safety. Each youth will receive a report card at the end of the course highlighting areas of strengths and areas to grow.
